Rising Rock Farms has made it our mission to raise the highest quality animals so we can bring you the highest quality meats. Born from a centuries old dairy farm, the Blank family has taken our old family farm knowledge and new forage knowledge to start a new tradition of pasture raised pigs, grass-fed beef, and naturally-raised and grain finished beef. We love making it a family affair and have three generations helping out around the farm on a daily basis. Brendon has a degree in soil sciences and has spent the last 15 years expanding his forage knowledge. Along with his dad, Brendon has centered our farming around the importance of soil health and high-quality forage for optimal animal nutrition and environmental stability. Good soil health means less need for chemical applications to fields and more nutrient dense growth. Our three girls love helping out with the animals, crawling on hay bales, planting the garden, and pretty much every aspect of living the farm life. We love our family, our animals, and our farm, but most important to you, we love our meat! And we hope you do too!
